Harvey d. Johnson American legion post 295

Dear Members and friends of the American Legion:

We are rebuilding the membership of the Legion and at the same time our building is in need of repairs. We need to paint, steam clean our sidewalks and other area. We need to remove all of the downed trees and trash from the back year. We need to redo our floors and make general repairs. We are in need of volunteers to help clean and we need funds to help cover the cost of repairs.

Thanks to our members and volunteers, we have accomplished many of these tasks. We have painted the hall, replaced all of the ceiling tile, lights have been repaired or replaced. Chairs are now being renovated and the hall floor will be renovated. We are in need of large military pictures that we can hang in our hall. If you have some special pictures that we can have enlarged to hang, please send a message to either the Commander or Senior Vice Commander stated above.

Our three acres in the back has been cleared and folks now know we have land behind our post that will be used in the future for post use and rentals. We are still in need of volunteers and supplies to start renovations of our 2nd floor.

The Legion is a 501 (c) 19, non-profit veteran organization, that is tax deductible
